Our own Downton!

This is Stouts Hill, our home for the 1st week. As Maddie calls it "our castle".
We are having an amazing time, although the kids were awake at 2am
ready to start the day, so after musical beds we all got up and started our day, we looked out our window to see rabbits on the lawn. It was all excitment.
It is father's day here today, so we had a cooked breakfast with Paul and John, then went for a walk around the property. We walked into the local village called Uley, and went to a church and little local shop. We found a little bubbling brook, so we had leaf races with the kids!....the simple things.
We had light rain most of the day today, so we took a drive to Dursley.
Lachie and Maddie have made themselves at home, happy to have a chat to the staff and other guests...they have found their way around and of course the focal point being the piano and the stair case! After a quiet afternoon we went for another walk around the grounds and to the lake, then made out way out for dinner to the Hunter's Hall in Kingscote for a fantatic meal! We

are loving being here and my nerves are getting better with these crazy small roads, I am letting Paul do all the driving!
We have squirrel here too! Just the mosy beautiful placr and so quiet. So, we have a big day planned tomorrow, so will have more to add again soon...
Stace :)
