We made it! 11000km, 13 hours on the plane. kids slept for 7 hours, so that was great, we are so proud of how they have travelled, it has been such a massive journey for them. They became a little restless in the last two hours of the flight, but that can only be expected.
We made our way to collect our car, the lady upgraded it so a bonus.
Paul was driving, we had the sat nav, so have decided that they are great, after a little senic
tour while Lachie was yelling he needs to wee, (after consuming half the water at the car hire place, cos he could do it himself!) not something you want to hear when you are in 4 lanes of traffic, and not sure if it is the right way lol! Not to mention the blinkers and wipers are back to front so Paul puts the blinkers on and the wipers start! lol Anyways, Lachie gets
the toilet stop, we regroup and on we travel, and yes, in the right direction! Paul was loving the 'miles' mmmmm has to remember 'miles' not 'km' lol.
We had a beautiful drive to our castle, it really is amazing, tiny little roads that lead you to the most wonderful little viliages. Just stunning, found some harry scary ones, where we had to reverse for the other car to get past, such tiny roads!
